He
was born 1964 in Bruchsal, Germany. Since 1978 he has been
concentrating on tango and the bandoneon, the instrument of
the tango.
On his journeys to Paris and Buenos Aires he was playing with
and learning from world-famous musicians such as Rodolfo Medero,
Juan Jose Mosalini, Nestor Marconi, and Coco Nelegatti.
From 1996 until 1997 he was living and working as arranger
and bandoneon player in Buenos Aires. Peter Reil has played
with almost all well-known european tango musicians, and by
now he is the most famous bandoneon player of Germany.
Because of his presence in numerous tango ensembles and his
activities in the field of arranging and compositing he is
a central figure of the european tango scene. |
